ALNASR’s humble beginnings date back to 1973, in a period when His Highness, the late Sheikh Zayed was calling for business leadership and innovation to drive the advancement of the UAE to become a regional and world player. Motivated by both his entrepreneurial spirit, and the ruler’s love for agriculture and greenery, our founder set out to establish one of Abu Dhabi’s first irrigation & contracting companies. In the 1980s, our desire to continually expand our skill set and push our boundaries became ingrained in our culture, and set us on a new trajectory. We made strides into the infrastructure sector to serve the UAE’s main utility providers, growing our scope of work to wider applications including potable water, sewage and drainage. ALNASR focused on securing the most technically demanding jobs. Over the course of the decade, this strategy ensured we built a strong reputation with key clients, and helped us develop significant in house expertise. We soon established in-house mechanical, electrical , district cooling and civil divisions, and further expanded our infrastructure division to meet the advancing requirements of the market. Our focus and commitment to the UAE brought growth to ALNASR, and in the late 90s our number reached a landmark 1,000 people. By the new millennium, economic growth across the UAE propelled us to be innovative and take on more multi-disciplined work. In 2004, ALNASR Irrigation became ALNASR contracting, and since then we have expanded into many other areas. Over four decades of success have given us the privilege of working with the largest national, regional and international clients on landmark strategic projects across the UAE. Today at over 4,500 strong, we are firmly rooted as the UAE’s expert multi-disciplined contractor, and pride our selves on delivering a broad spectrum of technical work to the very highest standards.
